What do we offer?
We offer large PRIVATE paddocks (40 x 120) which either attach directly to the barn, or which have a private deluxe shelter. Our paddocks are double the size of the average paddocks in this area. Our barn is an airy and bright space with large 12x12 box stalls with rubber mats and Dutch doors, and the shelters are 12x12 with rubber mats and 3 full sides with a 4 ft overhang. So the horses have 24/7 turnout into these individual spaces all year long.
Every horse has a HEATED automatic waterer, so you will not have to worry about your horse having to break through ice in the winter or have frozen water buckets that prevent them from drinking for parts of their day, and the water is fresh and cool in the summer. The water for all horses runs through a three-stage filter system with UV filter, so it is excellent water for your special friend! It is quite a luxury to know that your horse is drinking such high quality water!!
All boarders get a large indoor tack locker (lockable). You also get an individual space in one of our hay barns which fits about 160-200 bales of hay, so you can store your full year’s worth of hay.
ALL HORSES are turned out daily to grass pastures (weather permitting) and brought into their private paddocks at dinner time (either attached to the Barn or with deluxe shelters). In the summer, they go out all day. For winter, we stop turning out to the fields once the overnight temperature is below 5 degrees, because this is when the grass growth cycle traps sugar in the grass. This is a high level of service that allows you to relax knowing your horse’s day is being managed for you!!
During summer while on turnout, all horses are fed 3 times daily (aprx: 8am, 4-6pm, 9-10pm). During winter, all horses are fed 4 times daily (aprx: 8am, 11-1pm, 4-6pm, 8-10pm). We (the owners) live on the property.
We have a large outdoor sand arena with LIGHTS, a large round pen with LIGHTS, and riding trails right off the back of the property for hours of beautiful exploration with your horse. We plan to put in a “mountain trail” course at the back of our property which will have different obstacles for fun, challenge, and maybe even desensitizing your horse! We are only one property away from the Coombs Rodeo Grounds, so that facility is at your fingertips if that’s your thing!!
